Viacom France has launched, in partnership with WIZTIVI, the first personalized multiscreen music TV channel. MyMTV is based on personal channels: genres, periods, moods, tempo, artists etc. While watching a channel the user can like or dislike a video clip. The integrated recommendation engine then automatically adapts the programming to fit the user’s tastes by selecting among the extensive MTV library. The goal of the service is to bring the Millenial generation into new music consumption habits on TV and other screens. The service is already successfully deployed in more than 4M households in France.
